電影入座

由湯姆漢克監製，當代影像創作菁英spike jonze 改編自暢銷作家maurice sendak 最受歡迎的同名繪本而成的電影【野獸冒險樂園】，劇情描述無法無天的小孩麥克斯覺得自己在家裡老是受到誤解，決定跑去野獸樂園。麥克斯來到了一座小島，在島上遇見了天性狂野、行為難以捉摸的詭異動物，這座野獸樂園中的動物期盼能有一位領導者來帶領他們，碰巧麥克斯一直期待自己能成為一個王國的統治者；當麥克斯正式被野獸樂園王國冊封為國王之後，他承諾會創造出一個大家都能開心快活的地方，不過，麥克斯發現統治野獸樂園並不是一件容易的事，他在這座野獸樂園中的人際關係比他想像的還要複雜。導演spike jonze 先後以「變腦」、「蘭花賊」等片入圍過奧斯卡、金球獎最佳導演項目，拍攝過fatboy slim、bjork 等藝人音樂錄影帶。

音樂開始

電影歌曲由紐約搖滾樂團yeah yeah yeahs 女主唱karen o 擔綱創作任務，這位波蘭與南韓混血、喜歡搞華麗時尚的創作女聲，還特地為這一次的任務臨時組成了karen o and the kids 樂團，樂團成員包括了 yeah yeah yeahs 鼓手 brian chase、吉他手 nick zinner，來自亞特蘭大的實驗龐克搖滾團 deerhunter 的團員 bradford cox，紐約龐克搖滾團 liars 的鼓手 aaron hemphill，加州搖滾團 queens of the stone age 鍵盤/吉他手，同時在 2009 年與 the white stripes 的 jack white 組成超級搖滾樂團 the dead weather 的 dean fertita，還有同時身兼 the dead weather 樂團以及 jack white 所發起的另一支樂團 the raconteurs 的貝斯手 jack lawrence，洛杉磯流行電子樂團 the bird and the bee 的 greg kurstin。karen o 在眾多樂手的友情跨刀之下，創造出一種有著大人世界的搖滾精神，但是，骨子裡卻難掩孩子氣的搖滾樂，像是伴著兒童合唱團曲式的歡樂搖滾曲 "all is love"，裝載著無奈與鬱悶情緒的童真藍調小品 "worried shoes"，瀰漫著懷舊搖滾氛圍的心情搖滾佳作 "hideaway"。
