美國樂壇尊稱為「董事長」的傳奇金嗓藝人frank sinatra在1993年開創了超級巨星與超級巨星對唱的潮流，以專輯【duets】締造音樂史上最暢銷對唱專輯紀錄，2013年適逢這個被譽為是90年代美國唱片界盛事20週年紀念，環球音樂以全新母帶重製技術製作，將1993、1994年發行的【duets】、【duets ii】兩張重量級對唱作品彙整成雙碟紀念盤【duets – twentieth anniversary】，同時加收2首之前從未發行的歌曲以及3首珍貴錄音。
【duets】在1993年11月首度發行，由frank sinatra親自挑選參與對唱的超級巨星陣容，重現歌唱生涯招牌金曲，包括：與u2主唱bono對唱奧斯卡提名歌舞片「born to dance」主題曲"i've got you under my skin"；與金嗓歌王tony bennett對唱電影「紐約•紐約」主題曲"new york, new york"；與拉丁天王julio iglesias對唱曾選為萬事達卡等無數廣告曲的"summer winds"；與坐擁奧斯卡/艾美/葛萊美獎的長青藝人barbra streisand對唱蓋希文名曲"i've got a crush on you"；薩克斯風聖手kenny g悠揚樂聲相伴的電影「the joker is wild」金獎名曲"all the way"與舞王佛雷亞斯坦電影「the sky's the limit」主題曲"one for my baby (and one more for the road)"組曲。
1994年登場的對唱二部曲專輯【duets ii】中的巨星對唱名曲包括：與靈魂樂巨星stevie wonder、歌后gladys knight對唱曾出現在動畫片「史瑞克：快樂4神仙」片尾的"for once in my life"；與5座葛萊美獎拉丁巨星luis miguel對唱被電影「神鬼交鋒」選為插曲的"come fly with me"；與巴西音樂之父antônio carlos jobim合作浪漫情趣佳作"fly me to the moon"；與11座葛萊美獎傳奇女歌手linda ronstadt合唱40年代名曲"moonlight in vermont"；與節奏藍調歌后patti labelle合唱百老匯音樂劇「pal joey」名曲"bewitched"…等。
2013年歲末發行的20週年雙碟紀念盤【duets – twentieth anniversary】，特別加收2首之前從未發行的歌曲，包括：爵士界薩克斯風樂手tom scott錄製的名曲"one for my baby (and one more for the road)"以及創造40首全美鄉村榜top 10暢銷曲的女歌手tanya tucker對唱的"embraceable you"。同時還蒐羅frank sinatra分別與男高音巨星帕華洛帝、鄉村民謠耆老willie nelson灌錄勵志電影「奪標」金曲"my way"的兩種錄音版本。在此套對唱雙碟中，樂迷可以體驗這位金嗓巨星與不同類型音樂領域的巨星之間完美的歌聲融合，以及他對不同世代歌手的深遠影響力。
