來自亞美利堅麻州的four year strong，仍是熱血龐克高中生的雙主唱/吉他手dan o'connor、alan day 和貝斯手jake massucco 起了組團構想，不久則換上joe weiss 替補jake 離團空缺。現任鼓手jackson massucco 以及直到2006 年才確立為鍵盤手的josh lyford，齊力站穩four year strong 腳步，迅速累積死忠追隨粉絲群。2007 年【rise or die trying】的發行，登上美國熱門潛力榜第31 名，受到正夯的fall out boy 靈魂核心pete wentz 激賞，簽入自設廠牌decaydance records 旗下，不僅重新問世four year strong 的舊專輯，更著手籌備全新錄音室大碟。2009 年先以翻唱特典【explains it all】當暖身，引起各界熱烈迴響。
